He was a pragmatist, man of action. He was a renowned educationalist and a real mentor for the students. He chaired the Sree Sankara National Institute of Educational Trust and New Jyothi Cultural and Educational Society. He was also the Chairman of renowned educational institutions in Trivandrum district like Sri Sankara Central School and New Jyothi Central School, Senior Secondary. He was a man of simplicity and supported students from the underprivileged sections of the society. He received his B.P.Ed (Kerala University, Thiruvananthapuram), P.G.D.S.M. (Alagappa University, Karaikudi), M.P.Ed (Alagappa University, Karaikudi), M.Phil (Alagappa University, Karaikudi), Ph.D (Kerala University, Thiruvananthapuram).
He has more than 28 years of teaching experience in the same discipline and has worked as an academician in reputed various govt. educational institution (general education & higher education) across Kerala. He was a member of PSC Police selection board from 1997-2014. He was a subject expert in PSC college faculty selection committee. He was also a Program Officer of NSS and C-level certificate holder in NCC. He holds black belt in martial arts. He had participated in inter university athletic meet and Kerala amateur swimming championship. He whole heartedly welcomed suggestions and encouraged the faculties and students to achieve new horizons in the field of education.
